CALL FOR DEMONSTRATIONS


BAR-ILAN SYMPOSIUM
ON THE FOUNDATIONS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

THEME: BRIDGING THEORY AND PRACTICE

BISFAI-99, the sixth biennial Symposium on the Foundations of Artificial Intelligence, will be held on June 23-25, 1999 in Ramat Gan, Israel. Part of the symposium will focus on demonstrations of of unique and innovative artificial intelligence applications.

We solicit proposals for demonstrations of innovative applications of artificial intelligence. Proposals for demonstrations should consist of extended abstracts of at most 500 words. The abstract should contain

Authors should submit extended abstracts (preferrably postscript files via email) by March 16, 1999 to either of the program chairs, Leora Morgenstern (leora@watson.ibm.com) or Solomon Eyal Shimony (shimony@cs.bgu.ac.il). Questions on content, format, or appropriateness should be addressed to the program chairs. Authors will be notified of acceptance by April 12, 1999.

LATE SUBMISSIONS: Due to the delay of the Israeli semester this year, late submissions will also be accepted until April 23, 1999 with notification to authors by May 13, 1999.
